It’s time you knew WHERE your music’s going, and BeatStars’ feature Beat ID is here to help you in that search! Beat ID is a revolutionary content identification system that empowers creators with data and information regarding where and how their copyrights are being used across the social web. This unlocks an endless stream of opportunities for the original owner, from setting up collaborative meet-ups to taking back your ownership.
With the Beat ID tool, simply upload a beat or song, and we’ll scan a number of platforms including Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, and more. We’ll then link you to every place it appears on these platforms the following Saturday after your track upload.
PLEASE NOTE: Beat ID searches will take place every month as it takes time to accurately scan the depths of the web. Once your report is ready, we'll send you an email.
Once processed, Beat ID categorizes your matches into seven different match types - exact match, full match, partial match, and snippets - telling you exactly how much of your asset has been used by an outside party. The next steps are up to you, whether that be reaching out to the song user to entice collaboration or receiving your credit where it’s due.
