The Music Industry Has Only Declined 3% Since 2000, Despite Lack Of Album Sales
Everyone is aware that record sales have been in a slump since the year 2000, but a new chart put out by www.midiaconsulting.com shows a few interesting points.
The biggest drop off is with recorded income; which has dropped from 60% in 2000 to 36% in 2013.
This is offset by a 60% growth in live revenue, ultimately keeping the total percentage fairly low.
