Do you have any creative inspirations? If so, we’d love to know who and why.
Hands down, J Dilla! It was how he created his samples, cut them, and put together his tracks. He was a true genius and had his own sound. I would also add producers like Hit-Boy, Madlib, and Kanye West to the list of inspirations.
How do you stay motivated?
I stay motivated by never getting too high with the highs or too low with the lows. I try to always keep in mind that it's a marathon and not a sprint.
What is the most rewarding aspect of being a producer?
Being a part of a community that is continually growing and creating tons of new entrepreneurs!
How has your life changed since gaining success as a producer?
[Gaining traction as a producer] has helped a lot with making connections with other creators. I think relationships are important, and gaining new ones has been a fun addition to the journey.
Is there any moment in your career thus far that you felt like you “made it”? What part of your music career are you most proud of?
Receiving the million plays plaque was an awesome moment in my career. I definitely feel proud of that accomplishment. I'm working and progressing every day to get better continually.
What equipment do you consider essential to your setup?
My Maschine MK2 is my most essential piece of equipment. I make all my beats on it.
How has BeatStars played a role in your production and beat-selling business?
BeatStars is the cornerstone to my business. The marketplace and the ability to put your music out for others to hear and purchase have been worth it. There's so much support and great information in this community. I think it's amazing.

What advice do you have for up-and-coming producers?
Stay consistent, and you'll get there! Tune out the negative voices and replace them with positive ones. This will help you in the long run.
