When You Die: You Can Have Your Ashes Turned Into A Playable Vinyl Record
What do you want to leave behind when you die? Pictures? Voice recordings? A Diary?
How about a vinyl record pressed with your ashes and 24 minutes of music on it? Well, that is now possible!
UK company Andvinyl is giving everyone the opportunity with their basic package. They will take your cremated ashes and press them into 30 discs, each containing 24 total minutes of audio (12 minutes on each side).
You have to supply the audio; so you can record your own original audio, or choose your favorite songs. The discs come with artwork and labels that include your name, date of birth, and date of death. This specific package starts at $3,700.00 and you can add on plenty of extras.
Would YOU have your ashes added to a vinyl record? What songs or audio would be on it?
After talking about this service within the BeatStars offices, we all have chosen a song we would want to add to our “Ash Vinyl.”
